Hi Ya! I pray you had a wonderful time celebrating Thanksgiving and giving thanks for God’s many blessings.
I can’t believe I’m writing this email already, but I want to let you know our Women of Hope Christmas Party is THIS Saturday at the Annex (10a). I encourage you to wear something festive, PJs or a sweater and bring a snack to share. I love tasting all the goodies each year!
Once again, we’ll have our annual famous (or infamous) White Elephant Gift Exchange. Bring a wrapped gift to throw in the mix. I know finances can always be a thing, so don’t feel pressured to buy something. Be creative; re-gift something from your home or pantry that you’ve been looking to get rid of anyway. One year I gave expired Hamburger Helper boxes (though, at the time, I didn’t know they were expired). Or offer to go on a walk and have a conversation with someone. I’ll steal that! Just be creative…it doesn’t have to cost dollar-bucks.
Since we have the Merry Missions Vendor & Craft Fair at 1p, we will start the gift exchange by 10:30a, so please try to be there by then. And then plan to stay after to shop.
I am so grateful for each of you in my life. I love Christmas time at Hope Church! It is my joy and honor to celebrate the coming of our King with you, my friends!
