Week 1 (May 5th): Beginning Well
We’re so excited to step into this first week of our Grow26 fast together.
As many of you begin fasting today, we want you to know—we’re praying for you. If you’re already feeling the hunger, you’re not alone. For some, this may be new, but as you step out in faith, we believe God will meet you with His power and grace. He will strengthen you as you lean in.
Our focus this week is Beginning Well—setting our hearts in the right place as we step into this rhythm of prayer and fasting. This is about starting open, expectant, and ready for what God wants to do in us and through us.
As you pray this week, invite the Holy Spirit to help you in these areas:
- Hearts that are prepared and expectant
- A growing hunger for God—trading physical hunger for deeper spiritual hunger
- Sensitivity to the Holy Spirit and clarity in hearing His voice
- Strength and consistency throughout the fast
- Unity as a church, moving forward together
Don’t just ask for these things—make space to hear Him. Pay attention to any words, pictures, or people that come to mind, and consider writing them down.
And remember, this isn’t just personal—it’s something we’re doing together. Be praying for others in our church. If someone comes to mind, reach out and encourage them—let them know you prayed for them. This is how we build each other up as we grow closer to God.
Each Wednesday, we’ll fast from 6am–6pm, setting aside intentional time to seek Him—but don’t wait for Wednesday. Lean in all week.
Lean in. Hear Him. We Grow.
We believe God is going to move—in your life and across our church as a whole.
