First, we want to say how truly blessed and honored the Converge leaders are to serve your kids! We LOVE our Converge Students and think the world of each of them. We know they are the product of a lot of love, effort, and prayer from you. We’re humbled by the opportunity to partner with you, and we count it a privilege that you trust us to walk with them in their relationship with Jesus. Thank you!
That said, I can’t believe we’re already on the (con)verge of December?! But alas, that’s what the calendar says. We have a lot of fun planned for the next few weeks that we want to share with you.
Sunday, Dec. 4th – Converge 5-7:30 Christmas PJs Night
Sunday, Dec. 11th – Converge 5-8 Murder Mystery Christmas Party
If your student(s) plan to attend or invite friends, please let Jessica know in advance so we can assign them a character role. The sooner I know, the sooner they can get a role. The theme is murder at an Ugly Sweater Christmas Party, so costumes are Christmas-themed, mostly ugly sweaters. There’s NO obligation to spend money. Be creative and wear whatever you have around the house…
Wednesday, Dec. 21st – Holiday Lights of Hope at Hobgood Park
This is a Converge Family event, so all are welcome. Kids under 14 get in free (14+ is $10). Meet at the entrance at 6:30p.
Sunday, Dec. 19th – The Gathering 5-7:45 White Elephant Gift Exchange
Meet at Hope Church at 5p to leave by 5:15p. Traveling to Bascomb United Methodist Church. Bring a wrapped gift to exchange ($5-$10) or gently used from the house. Pick-up at BUMC at 7:45.
Sunday, Dec. 25th – NO CONVERGE
Sunday, Jan. 1st – NO CONVERGE
New Year’s Week – we’ll do something during the week…TBA
